For years EA's Fight Night has dominated the boxing game genre for years. With little to no real contenders and sales starting to decline, Fight Night: Champion would be be the last entry for them. It was years till another game would finally step up and take the reigns, with Steel City Interactive developing the game with Deep Silver publishing it. Now will Undisputed be the new top dog or will it fail to live up to the standards that Fight Night has made.
Sound & Graphics:
When it comes to the sound of the game for things like the punches and impact they both are good. When it comes to the graphics I would say it's not bad either. My main problem is that the music or lack of it can make the game feel cheap and boring.
Gameplay:
In a boxing game, the gameplay should be the main focus in this game and in this game it's good for the most important area such as the movements and punches but when it comes to things like knock outs, presentation, commentators, training, and more it fails hard. I would say that if they could maybe make an update that can improve in these areas it would feel like more of complete game.
Conclusion:
Overall this game has done a good job for it's first time designing this, utilizing what Fight Night had started years before. I feel like this game can add more important features that can make this so much better.
